Francois Renault joins Zodiac Nautic as Sales Director EMEA

Appointments, departures, job changes... There has been movement at Zodiac Nautic, Bavaria, Mercury Marine, Navico, Boston Whaler.

Numerous arrivals at Zodiac Nautic

The 2019 school year saw 3 new hires at Zodiac Nautic:

Former Bavaria Yachts sales manager for France, Africa, Russia and the Middle East, François Renault (pictured above) leaves the German shipyard and joins the French semi-rigid specialist. He will be in charge of sales for the EMEA zone outside France.

Paul Rioux formerly in charge of Mercury Marine's business development in France and Switzerland, joins Zodiac Nautique's Asia Pacific office. He will support Patrick Bloch, the head of the antenna, for sales and marketing actions.

Matthieu Guyonnaud formerly CEO of the Stand Up Anonymous SUP, acquired by Zodiac, becomes responsible for the new Zodiac Sport business unit in charge of paddles and folding boats under 5 metres in length.

Navico is recruiting the former director of the Volvo Ocean Race

Knut Frostad a Norwegian renowned in the world of ocean racing, particularly for his position at the helm of the Volvo Ocean Race 2018, joins the Navico group. He was appointed Vice President in charge of Marketing and Digital within the marine electronics heavyweight, owner of the Simrad, B&G and Lowrance brands. He had already been a director of the company since 2005.

Boston Whaler reduces sail area in Europe

Katie Hansen who has been in charge of sales and marketing for the famous American motor boat brand Boston Whaler for Western Europe for the past 10 years, is leaving the La Rochelle office. She was reintegrated into the Brunswick Group's headquarters in the United States. Alessandro Lorenzon previously in charge of Southern Europe, takes over the entire EMEA region. A decision to reduce the number of jobs that seems consistent with the difficulties faced by American brands in dealing with import taxes.
