New range of propellers at Suzuki

Japanese outboard engine manufacturer Suzuki announced at the Yokohama Boat Show the launch of a new range of high-performance propellers. Designed for its 4-stroke engines, the Watergrip propellers will be offered in standard, dual or sport versions and are designed to limit slip and avoid impacts.

New website and new names at J Composites

The website of the Vendée yacht builder J Composites has been revamped. More didactic, it highlights the new ranges redefined under the names Elegance and Sport, as we mentioned on boatindustry.com .

Seair receives environmental mention at UIMM award

The Flying RIB, a semi-rigid foil boat developed by the people of Seair, stands out at the Gala de l'Union Interationale Motonautique in Monaco. It received a special mention from the"Environmental Benefit" jury for its environmentally friendly approach in reducing fuel consumption.

Partnership between Mercury and April Marine

Mercury Marine France and April Marine announced, at the Nantes Sea Fishing Show, a partnership for a yachting credit offer for the reengining and purchase of a transportable outboard motor. It will be offered directly by Mercury dealers.

Call for projects Readynov

The Occitanie Pyrénées - Méditerranée region launches the Readynov call for projects. Intended for collaborative innovation, the programme will finance 10 to 60% of the selected projects. Among the sectors targeted are the coastal and sea economy, focusing in particular on pleasure boating and nautical activities, as well as the environment and sustainable coastal development. Applications must be submitted before 11 April 2018.
