Jessee Besson joins Phantom International

Appointments, departures, job changes... There was movement at Amel, Catana, Dometic, STGI, Phantom International, Compagnie des Ports du Morbihan.

Boris Compagnon, Sales Director of Catana

Boris Compagnon takes over the commercial management of Catana. The new manager of the catamaran yard was previously commercial for the sailmaker Amel from La Rochelle for 9 years, after having worked for Zodiac Marine.

Departure of the EMEA President from Dometic

Bengt Thorsson has announced his departure from the Dometic Group, a manufacturer of air conditioning, hygiene and refrigeration equipment for leisure and recreational vehicles. The former President for the Europe Mediterranean Middle East zone will hold office until a successor is appointed.

Igor Cherques, back at STGI

Igor Cherques returns to the STGI yard, manufacturer of the Aventura catamarans. After a four-year break, he returned to the Tunisian shipyard where he had worked from 2009 to 2013. He will be in charge of communication and promotion of the company.

New windsurf transfer at Phantom International

After the arrival of Emmanuel Messiaen, a former NeilPryde sales and marketing manager, a former Naish France employee joined Phantom International. Jessee Besson, brother of Olympic sailor Billy Besson, will be in charge of sales and sailing on the promotional towers of hydrofoil catamarans and windsurf range.

Movements at the Compagnie des Ports du Morbihan

On the occasion of the retirements of Jean-Jacques Prévot, director of the port of Trinité-sur-Mer and Jean-Claude Hamon, engineer of the ports service, the Compagnie des Ports du Morbihan made several movements. Marc de Ghellinck, former director of the ports of Arzal-Camoël and Crouesty, takes the head of the port of La Trinité-sur-Mer. Jean-Marc Gauter, former deputy, is promoted to director of the port of Crouesty. The Compagnie des Ports du Morbihan has recruited Soizic Dubois, former shipyard and racing stable employee, to take over the management of the port of Arzal-Camoël. The company also saw the arrival of Aurélie Giard at the head of the tourist sites of Gavrinis and Petit Mont/Arzon, Jean-Baptiste Fleitour in the engineering department and Xavier Piétin in the IT department.
