Appointments, departures, job changes... There has been some movement at SEIMI, the METS show, British Marine and Ullman Sails in recent weeks.

Emmanuel Labory takes over the sales management of SEIMI

Emmanuel Labory joins the marine equipment manufacturer SEIMI. The new commercial director of the company from Brest has been working in the maritime sector for 20 years. He previously worked for Navicom, Navico and Le Drezen. He has been in the BtoB business for a long time and also has experience in boat sales and at a shipchandler.

A new Frenchman in the organization of METS

2 new members have been appointed to the exhibition committee of the METS equipment manufacturers' exhibition. They are Antoine Thomas and Leo Stam.

Mr. Thomas is the General Manager of the French manufacturer of kitchen equipment for pleasure boating ENO, since he bought the company with a partner in 2003. He is in charge of development, sales and marketing for the ENO and Force 10 brands.

Leo Stam is the director of the Dutch engineering company Hydrosta, which has been specialising in marine hydraulics for 20 years.

Departure of the Director of British Marine

Howard Pridding, Managing Director of British Marine, the association of British yachting professionals, announced his departure at the end of June 2018. An employee of British Marine for 27 years, he has been at the helm since October 2018. He says he wants new opportunities. British Marine hopes to appoint a successor before his departure.

Damien Guillou joins Ullman Sails in Brittany

Skipper Damien Guillou, who has distinguished himself in Figaro, joins Ullman Sails. Based in Port-La-Forêt, it is today the only retailer of the Californian sail brand on the French west façade. Ullman Sails is also based in Marseille, with a full workshop and at La Grande-Motte.
