Hanse Yachts: The engine exceeds the sail

Sealine C 430

More motorboats than sailboats sold by the Hanse Group at Boot 2018. A turn for the German yachting specialist with 7 boat brands.

Strong presence

The Hanse Group was present in force on Boot 2018 in Düsseldorf. He exhibited 17 sailing and motor boats on his 6 stands representing the brands Hanse, Dehler, Moody, Privilège, Fjord and Sealine. The Privilège Marine catamaran shipyard was exhibiting for the first time in Germany as a member of the Hanse Group.

More engine than sail

Maxim Neumann, sales manager of the Hanse Group, is delighted with double-digit sales and the success of his motorboats, which for the first time exceed his yachts in number of units sold at the show. "For the first time in the company's history, we sold more motor boats than sailboats, reflecting the strong growth in the motoryacht segment. Sealine's sales figures, which more than doubled compared to last year, are particularly satisfactory. In addition, we have completed the sale of two unique Hanse 675s to be delivered in 2018."

Multi-brand strategy

Hanse Group CEO Jens Gerhardt sees the success of the Boot 2018 as a validation of his choices. "The yard's multi-brand strategy fits perfectly into the new age of the yachting industry. Through standardized processes and customer-oriented products, we always have the perfect boat in our model portfolio. The production volume not only guarantees a balanced price ratio, but also ensures high quality according to German standards. It's a win-win situation for both us and the end customer."
