Boréal, Phantom International, BigShip and the CCI du Morbihan have made the news in recent days.

The Boréal 47, sailboat of the year in the US

For its first presentation across the Atlantic, the Boréal 47 won over the American press. The Boreal Breton shipyard's aluminium cruising sailboat was named"Boat of the Year 2018" by Cruising World magazine. The boat wins the"Best Midsize Cruiser" category for yachts from 44 to 47 feet and the overall classification.

Phantom International goes windsurfing

The hydrofoil catamaran manufacturer Phantom International is diversifying. The brand launches the IRIS windsurf sails range. It announces a gain of 30% on the price and 25% on the weight compared to the main brands in the windsurfing sector, thanks to work on the materials and the method of sail distribution. Emmanuel Messiaen, former NeilPryde, joined the Phantom International team for the project.

BigShip gets the Lucie label

The BigShip deck hardware plant, which has already begun the ISO 26000 certification process in March 2016, has just joined the 200 Lucie labelled companies. The Lucie label is aligned with the ISO 26 000 standard. Valid for 36 months, the label is based on a continuous improvement process. BigShip is committed to the following 7 commitments:

Start-up Contest Nautical Tourism

The Morbihan Chamber of Commerce and Industry launches its Start-Up Nautical Tourism contest. The objective is to identify and support the best projects and solutions providing an innovative service to facilitate the nautical activity of tourists and the development of nautical tourism. The competition, sponsored by Thomas Coville and Ariane Pehrson, is open to project owners in the process of registration, start-ups, VSEs, SMEs, young companies registered under 3 years of age and having developed a solution or an innovative product. Applications are open until 31 January 2018.
