Evo Yachts France makes its Nautic debut

The Italian shipyard Evo Yachts acquires an exclusive distributor for mainland France and Corsica. Run by Jean-Marc Bichot, the new company named Evo Yachts France will make its debut at the Nautic 2017. This will be the brand's first participation in the Paris boat show. She will exhibit the motor boats that have made her famous, with their telescopic rear walls, doubling the space for sunbathing.

Frauscher offers itself a painting booth

The Austrian Frauscher shipyard continues its development. In constant growth since its creation in 2012, the company, which produces boats with top-of-the-range thermal and electric motors, inaugurates a new painting cabin. It will treat boats up to 55 feet, with metallic finishes.

Innovations on the menu of marinas

The Association des Ports de Plaisance de Bretagne (APPB) and the Association des Ports de Plaisance de l'Atlantique (APPA) co-organised a day entitled"Technical, service and usage innovations". The event, which took place at Le Pouliguen on Friday 17 November, brought together 75 participants, elected officials, managers and staff of marinas, around new port practices, such as the concierge service and the Boat Club and new technologies related to fluid management and the reception of RMCs.

Naval Force 3 welcomes skipper Yannick Bestaven

The Force 3 Shipyard in La Rochelle will build a tivoli 7m high and 9m30 wide to welcome Yannick Bestaven's IMOCA in its preparation for the Vendée Globe 2020. The French distributor Tecmar, based in La Rochelle et Antibes, takes exclusive distribution of OceanLED underwater lamps. It completes Tecmar's portfolio, which includes major brands such as Lewmar and Mastervolt, in the growing underwater lighting segment.

Dometic acquires Seastar Solutions

Swedish OEM group Dometic announced the acquisition of SeaStar Solutions for $875 million. This acquisition expands Dometic's product portfolio to include boat steering and control systems under the SeaStar, Xtreme, Moeller, Optimus and Sierra brands. The new group will employ 6,750 people worldwide at around 30 sites.
