New catamaran Day One, built by TechniYachts Pinta

Mutiplast - AFPA : High Performance Composite Training

AFPA and Multiplast are offering job seekers a new High Performance Composite training session between 18 September and 19 December 2017. 14 places are to be filled. Information meetings will be held on September 4, 2017 at 9:30 am at the AFPA Auray and on September 5, 2017 at 9:30 am at the Pôle Emploi branch in Plescop. Created in 2015, the course has already enabled several dozen people to be trained in composite trades for Sailing Valley boating companies.

TechniYachts Pinta builds a 2nd catamaran for the day-charter

TechniYachts Pinta, a shipyard in La Rochelle, has announced the launch of the construction of a day charter catamaran for Colombia. Available in February 2018, this 27 metre multihull for 150 passengers is the second unit in the Day One range, designed with the Yacht Concept office. These yachts, made of composite sandwich, are built by flat panels, then assembled to facilitate modularity, as we had already presented in BoatIndustry.com .

Abys Yachting celebrated its 20th anniversary

Abys Yachting, exclusive importer in France of Pershing, Ferretti, Custom Line and Mochi Craft yacht brands, celebrates its 20th anniversary. For this occasion, it gathered 200 guests last July 13 on the Quai des Milliardaires of the port of Antibes, privatized for the evening.

GMT Outdoor becomes Led Lenser distributor

GMT Outdoor, a company specialising in the import of equipment for outdoor activities, has announced the resumption of distribution of the Led Lenser brand for France, as of 17 July 2017. Known in France for the Leatherman brand, the company now adds a specialist in portable LED lamps to its portfolio. Daylight flashlights, waterproof to 60m, should seduce the yachting market.
