Marine West strengthens its presence in Finistère

Shipyard Marine West

With a new fittings store in Bénodet, Marine West continues its development in Southern Brittany. Diversification and expansion of the clientele are on the agenda.

Marine West Bénodet

After its takeover by Marine West, the Accastillage de l'Odet shop became Marine West Bénodet. The store joins the shipyards of Locmiquélic, where the Marine West adventure began, as well as Port-La-Forêt and Lorient. The store also becomes an AD Corner franchise for the area.

Marine West now employs more than 25 people.

Reaching a new clientele

For Jean-Baptiste Plassart, head of Marine West, setting up in Bénodet was important to develop the client portfolio. "It's been a long time since I wanted to settle in Bénodet. The number of boats and boaters is high and despite the proximity, it was difficult to reach this clientele from our site in Port-La-Forêt."

A new activity

The takeover of a hardware store is also an interesting diversification for Marine West, whose activity was for the time being limited to shipbuilding and the sale of new and second-hand boats. "The sale of fittings is a new profession to learn, interesting because it complements my existing activities," says Jean-Baptiste Plassart.

Best mesh for Jeanneau

Jeanneau boat dealer for the Etel sector as far as South Finistère, Marine West will be able to take advantage of its new location to increase its commercial presence and develop the sale of new boats.
