Many boats on display
For its 32nd edition, the Mille Sabords presented 746 boats ranging from kayaks to 15m sailing boats, in the basins of Port-Crouesty as well as on the medians.
Professionals exhibited 159 boats afloat and 244 units on land. 204 used boats were also offered for sale by individual boaters.
1/3 of sales for professionals
129 boats presented by professionals found takers at the show, or 32% of the units exhibited.
The number of sales for individuals is more modest, reaching 42 transactions, or 21% of the fleet offered for purchase.
Light sail/slide space development
Moved and associated with new practices such as kite-surfing or paddle, light sailing has experienced a new breath. With 139 boats put up for sale and 75 transactions concluded, the share of boats sold at the show reached 53%. It is a real satisfaction for Caroline Martine, from the organization of Mille Sabords.
Simon Flecher, from Kenkiz Marine, exhibiting at the Espace Glisse says:"We had a very good demand for our products. People came from all walks of life. The Mille Sabords represents a great opportunity for this discipline."
A Renovation Pole that finds its public
A major novelty at the show, the renovation centre brought together professionals and offered entertainment to guide and guide boaters in their project to buy a used boat. For Cyril Le Mero, economic development advisor for CMAM, in charge of the cluster:"This first is a great success. We have had positive feedback from exhibitors. The requests are qualitative."
The feeling is confirmed by Thierry Dubois of Plastiques de l'estuaire:"The location and the concept with the demonstrations are very interesting. We met people who were curious and looking to understand our business. "
