The Privilège Marine group is the winner of the Etienne Marcel 2016 Prize for responsible entrepreneurship. Recognition for the site's policy since the recovery in 2012.

A prize for SMEs

The Etienne Marcel Prize was created in 2011 by the Think Tank Etienne Marcel to promote and share good practices in VSEs, SMEs and SMIs. The objective is for the association to highlight efficient SMEs"that put people, the territory and the preservation of the planet at the heart of their activity". Companies who so wish apply and are selected on the basis of their application by a jury composed of personalities from business and administrative life. The operations valued are, for example, support for the employment of school trainees, actions in favour of diversity and equal opportunities, the transfer and takeover of companies, the safeguarding of employment through the implementation of training plans or actions in favour of employee participation and profit-sharing.

Recognition of human work

Presented in the Senate to Gilles Wagner, Chairman of Privilège Marine, the prize rewards the work done since the acquisition of the Privilège and Feeling brands in 2012. The jury wanted to distinguish the cohesion work carried out between the internal team, the naval architect, the designers and the key suppliers to reach the highest end of the market. Privilège Marine is also known for its dynamic recruitment and training strategy, associating experienced employees, most of whom are over 55, with young people under 30, innovators in the shipyard's various trades. The Etienne Marcel prize has also been awarded for"Made In France" know-how.
